Following the success of Black Country T Shirts. TeeT Shirts have now introduced 'Black Country Caps' in their store in Cradley Heath. Ranging from the classic slogans, 'Ar Bay a Brummie I'm from the Black Country to Black Country ay it to 'Black Country Born and Bred' and so on. They're all available in red, blue and black!
The team also offer a custom cap service for a small additional cost. You can put within reason any slogan of Your Own, so if you've got something to say why not pop in and get that something printed on a cap. Maybe you can make up some more Black Country sayings on your caps by checking out The Black Country Dialect on the BBC homepage.
On top of Black Country T-Shirts and caps, TeeT Shirts also produce, hoodies, sweatshirts. polo shirts and environmentally friendly canvas shopping bags which have Black Country slogans on such as 'Me other bags Bost!' which translates as my other bag is broken and 'Gooin Shappin ay I!' which translates as 'I'm going shopping am I not!' People can also create a custom bag for the same cost.
Teet Shirts have recently introduced their new Black Country Commandments Tea Towels or 'Tay' towels as it's said locally.
The original idea of making T-Shirts with Black Country slogans is the brainchild of Stephen Pitts and Warren McCabe-Smith.
Since then others have followed and tried to cash in on their ideas which makes the duo very proud of their accomplishments.
Take the Che guevara T-Shirt for example, it was an idea that took off and those without ideas took the idea and made it there own to make money hence the global phenomenon it became. What's most important to TeeT Shirts is the sharing of there own ideas rather than cashing in and making money off others. Only then when the team retire they can sit back and say "wow, we did alright from that T-Shirt idea of ours!" and feel accomplished. There is rich reward from creation that no money can buy.
